Guests who enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation can find themselves indulging in all sorts of fantastic meals and desserts scattered throughout the four theme parks, two water parks, Disney Springs, and Disney Resorts. With so many amazing dining options to choose from, many guests make sure to save plenty of room for desserts and treats since there are so many amazing options to indulge in. Guests who in particular love chocolate are sure to find themselves in heaven while enjoying a Disney vacation since there are plenty of sweet, decadent, and refreshing chocolate concoctions to enjoy. From decadent cupcakes and ice cream sundaes to light and fluffy chocolate mousse and trifles, the chocolate dessert options at Disney are worth saving room for. Here are the top ten chocolate treats to indulge in at Walt Disney World!

1.     Mickey’s Premium Bar —

One of the most recognizable chocolate treats in Walt Disney World are the beloved ice cream bars shaped like Mickey himself. Mickey’s Premium Bars feature vanilla ice cream coated in milk chocolate on a Popsicle stick, all shaped like Mickey. The refreshing ice cream and sweet chocolate make for the perfect combination to enjoy on a hot day in the parks, and the Mickey’s Premium Bar can be found at many of the ice cream carts and Disney Resorts in Walt Disney World.

2.     Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich —

Also offered up at ice cream carts and Disney Resorts is the Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich. This classic treat features cookies and cream ice cream sandwiched between two delicious chocolate cookies shaped like Mickey. This chocolate ice cream treat is rather large, and each cookie features an impression of Mickey’s face that guests are sure to love!

3.     Brownie Sundae —

While the Magic Kingdom is home to many dining options, The Plaza Restaurant is a favorite of many guests thanks to its convenient location at the end of Main Street, charming turn of the century theme, and delicious food! While the main options are wonderful, dessert is the star at The Plaza Restaurant and is prepared next door in the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. One of the most popular restaurants in Epcot is Le Cellier Steakhouse in World Showcase’s Canada Pavilion. Disney’s Beach Club Resort is home to a dining location that serves up some of the most decadent and popular ice cream concoctions in all of Walt Disney World. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop features plenty of delicious menu options to choose from including the Fudge Mud Slide. This massive sundae is big enough to share and features a delicious brownie smothered in hot fudge, vanilla ice cream, Oreos, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a cherry on top.

7.     Kilauea Torte —

One of the most relaxing locations in Walt Disney World is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort which is also home to several amazing dining options. Kona Café can be found in the Great Ceremonial House and is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner serving up Polynesian inspired dishes. Guests who dine at the location for lunch and dinner should definitely save room for dessert to enjoy the Kilauea Torte which features a decadent chocolate volcano filled with warm liquid chocolate!

8.     Kungaloosh! —

One of the newest dining locations in Walt Disney World can be found in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland. The Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is operated by the skippers from the nearby world famous Jungle Cruise and serves up unique eats inspired by exotic locations around the world. In addition to the wonderful main options, the location also serves up a fun and delicious chocolate dessert that guests simply have to try. The Kungaloosh! features a chocolate cake served with caramelized bananas, cashew-caramel ice cream, and coffee dust which is sure to be a favorite of any chocolate lover!

9.  Viking Chocolate Mousse —

The Norway Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is home to all things Frozen as well as a delicious bakery which serves up traditional Norwegian snacks. Chocolate fans will love indulging in the Viking Chocolate Mousse at the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe which combines light and airy mousse with a chocolate ganache decked out with Viking horns.
