With its headliner attractions, beautiful scenery, beloved character interactions, and top-notch dining, Epcot is an amazing park. With the exciting rides and attractions in Future World, like Test Track, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Mission Space, and Soarin’, plus the potpourri of shops and international restaurants in the World Showcase, guests of all ages can spend a fun-filled day. Many guests even enjoy Epcot over several days to really experience everything this park has to offer. When the sun goes down; however, a magical glow settles over the park, dusting the flowers, topiaries, and attractions. The fireworks spectacular, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, is without a doubt a perfect way to enjoy Epcot at night. Epcot has much more to offer, so check out these experiences and see for yourself how special this park is when the stars are twinkling in the warm Florida sky.
7. Fountains in France Pavilion.
Grab a sweet treat and a drink and stroll around the France pavilion. The area twinkles beautifully with lights, with little tables available to enjoy the romantic ambiance and quaint shops to browse. I love having dinner in the cozy glow of Chefs de France and watching guests walk by on the promenade. Check out the illuminated fountains in the courtyard area for a perfect spot for a picture and to enjoy the magic of the night.
6. An Evening Performance of the British Revolution.
While listening to this band is fun anytime from the gazebo in the United Kingdom pavilion, it’s even more thrilling to catch an evening performance. The night air is electric as the band plays favorite songs from The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, and many more hit British groups. With the heat of the day over, the crowd enthusiastically sings along and dances to familiar favorites.
5. Test Track.
Take a spin on Test Track at night, and experience a more intense ride. This attraction is thrilling no matter what time of the day you choose to go on it, but this vehicle design and road testing ride is amazing at night. Once your car is designed and goes through the indoor paces of the road test, it quickly accelerates and speeds out the doors to the open track. Zipping around the track in the dark at over 60 miles per hour with a glowing Spaceship Earth in the background is a must-do on every one of my Epcot adventures.
4. Dinner at the Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room.
Try for a dinner reservation on the outdoor patio at this eatery. If you time it right, you can have a perfect viewing of the Illuminations: Reflections of Earth fireworks show.
3. Photo Opportunity.
Stop in front of Spaceship Earth on your way out of the park and have your photo take in front of a beautifully illuminated geosphere. PhotoPass photographers are there to get your entire group in the picture.
2. Festival Magic.
If you’re visiting during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, you can enjoy the amazing topiaries during the day and at night too. Many of the topiaries have special lighting and effects visible at night. If you’re visiting during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, be sure to grab a seat at the America Gardens Theatre for one of the popular bands or solo artists that perform nightly in this lovely open air setting.
1. Sidewalk Pixie Dust.
At the end of the night, look for the twinkling sidewalks between Spaceship Earth and Innoventions. The pavement looks completely normal in the day, and at night fiber optic glitter and sparkle, showing more magic before guests leave the park.
